Christmas Day 2007

Christmas was great fun! Brewer woke up hungry so instead of getting excited about his toys that Santa had brought him, he wants food. You'll see in the video where we are coming down the stairs that he says he wants to eat.

After some food, Brewer was ready to play with the toys Santa brought. We waited for Papa, Me-Maw and Uncle Day-Day to come over before we opened all of our gifts. In this video you can see Mommy's belly as she is 7 months pregnant with Brewer's brother.

Children's Christmas Party

I am finally getting around to uploading our photos from this holiday season. It was a wonderful holiday. We hold an annual Children's Christmas Party. Each year is very special to see our friends and their kids. We have a birthday cake for Jesus, do some crafts, and Mr. & Mrs. Claus come in from the North Pole to visit with us. At the age of 2-1/2, Brewer doesn't want to take the time to talk to Santa. However, he made sure he got his two cents in before they left to say he wanted a "big choo-choo".

Wikki Stick Fun

Today we went to the park with our playgroup friends and then out to lunch. In the kids' meal, we received a pack of Wikki Sticks. Brewer thought it was awesome to have glasses out of the sticks and he wore them all day. He kept saying he was a "person" because he had glasses. :)

Singing about Christmas

The video above shows Brewer's class coming in for the Christmas program. Mommy missed this program because the school changed the date at the last minute. Mommy and Me-maw had already made plans to be in New York City on the new date of the program. Daddy, Uncle Day-Day, and PaPa were at the performance. They all said Brewer was the best of all the two year olds at following directions and doing the "parts" in the songs.

"Baby in the Manger" and "Ring Those Bells"
The video above shows the two songs the tw0-year-olds sung. At the end of the song Daddy gave Brewer a 'thumbs up' and in the video you can see Brewer giving a thumbs up back to Daddy.

Little Brewer

Today Brewer was singing around the house again. I tried to capture him singing this song. It is called "Little Brewer". It's a silly song my mom and I started singing to him right after he was born. It caught on and now everyone in our family sings it...including Brewer!!

Happy Birthday, Uncle Day-Day

We celebrated Uncle Day-Day's birthday on Sunday night. Brewer had been practicing Happy Birthday with Day-Day's name (we first learned it for Auntie Phyl's birthday) and has been singing it ever since. The singing started early today...Brewer has just woken up and in fact is taking off his PJs while he is singing.
